Chris Rodgers-Wilson

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, I moved to London at 17 to train at the Royal Ballet School. Over 17 years, I had the privilege of performing internationally, retiring as a Senior Artist with the Australian Ballet.

My path into psychology and coaching began whilst still dancing. A huge part of the job was sustaining high performance - how we manage pressure, recover from setbacks, and continue our personal and professional growth. Working with specialists across physiotherapy, sports medicine and psychology, sparked a deep interest in what helps us perform at our best.

Now retraining in psychology and certified in coaching, I draw on this lived experience to support others. My favourite part of being a dancer was the close bonds formed in partnerships and teams - the trust, rapport and shared striving toward high standards. I believe genuine connection is essential to success; we are not built to do it isolation. That belief in connection continues to drive me in my coaching work today.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in psychological insight. The client always remains the focus. I help people of all backgrounds develop greater adaptability — to recognise when strengths are serving them, and when and how to shift to meet new challenges. Over time, this builds confidence that is flexible, responsive, and grounded in self-awareness.

Whether you're working toward a specific goal or simply seeking greater self-understanding, coaching offers focused support, fresh perspective, and a safe space to unlock your potential — with clarity and intention.
